Thank you for stopping by, I’m Colin and I created this blog as a place to share my healthy eating experiences. I’ve turned 50 and only just beginning to wake up to the power of eating well, all my life I’ve enjoyed cooking and eating food but never really thought about how it could affect my physical and mental health. I used to consider eating fruit and veg as a chore, simply because I knew I should. But they were not the main focus of any meal, and were often left on the plate after eating the ‘good stuff’!
I certainly don’t intend to go all veggie or vegan, there are health benefits to eating meat, fish and even chocolate!! My main aim is to share my recipes and provide insights into the benefits of eating regular healthy food.
